MVOH launched with a bang!

Mrs Angela Keung, Chair of MVOH Steering Committee, was assisted by Harb Gill and Winnie Cheung of PCHC in officially launching the trans-Pacific Cantonese Opera Project "MVOH" by hitting the ceremonial gong in Metro Vancouver on May1. Also featured in this photo are community leaders and scholars, including Drs. Elizabeth and Graham Johnson who were instrumental in UBC's acquisition and preservation of the largest collection of Cantonese opera costumes and artefacts in N. America.
