World VIU Days: British Columbia: An Untold History

  • Vancouver Island University 900 Fifth Street Nanaimo, BC, V9R 5S5 Canada (map)

Join us for a screening of episode three of this Knowledge Network Series and conversation with an expert panel to discuss the immigrant narratives of resilience that define BC. The series offers an inclusive and diverse perspective as told through the voices of the people who lived it and those who have studied it: authors, historians, elders, families, and descendants of historical figures. The primary focus of this episode is on early Asian Canadians, which will be reflected in the panel discussion.

PCHC Director Sharanjit Kaur Sandhra will be one of the featured panelists.
