Hearts of Freedom on Lac Viet Radio

As you may have heard, Hearts of Freedom is producing a travelling museum exhibit that will be hosted by PCHC-MoM next year. Hearts of Freedom is a collection of 170 interviews from both women and men who came to Canada as refugees between 1975 and 1985 or who assisted refugees during the period after the fall of the Vietnam War, the Lao Secret War and the Cambodian genocide.

Andy Pham and Stella Nhung Davis will be interviewing Stephanie Stobbe, a key member of the Hearts of Freedom Team and an Associate Professor at Menno Simons College at the University of Winnipeg, on Lac Viet Radio on FM96.1 to talk about the Hearts of Freedom project, on Saturday, July 30th from 9:00am to 10:00am. Stella was also one of the Vancouver Coordinators for the project. Andy is on the PCHC-MoM Board of Directors. Both Andy and Stella are co-hosts of Lac Viet Radio. The PCHC-MoM Hearts of Freedom Committee invites you to tune in to listen to this broadcast. A recording will also be shared afterwards for those who cannot make that time.
