"Broken Promises" Tour & Gorge Park Teahouse Visit in Victoria

Join PCHC-MoM for an exclusive guided tour of the"Broken Promises" exhibition at the Royal BC Museum & the historic Japanese Canadian site of the Gorge Park Teahouse and gardens on Oct 29.

Chair of the Advisory Japanese Canadian Community Council to Landscapes of Injustice & PCHC member Vivian Wakabayashi Rygnestad will provide insights and an overview into this dark chapter of Canadian history. Project Manager for the Landscapes of Injustice project Michael Abe will provide a tour of the historic Japanese Canadian site of the Gorge Teahouse and gardens.

Registration fee: $25.00 (members in good standing) and $35 (others - family and friends are welcome to register and join).

Schedule:

11:30am - 12:45pm: Meet in lobby of the Royal BC Museum

12:45pm - 2:15pm: lunch on your own

2:15pm - 3:30pm: Meet Michael Abe, project manager of Landscapes of Injustice, at Park Teahouse and gardens (1070 Tillicum Road, Esquimalt)
